As a cook, you'll assist in the kitchen for meal preparation. Flexibility in hours and schedule are required. Our team members are accountable for guest satisfaction by ensuring Cabin Bluff's food standards are met, and addressing guest concerns in a timely and efficient manner. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional culinary training strongly desired. Lead Quail Hunting Guide (83182):
The Lead Quail Hunting Guide is a working supervisor and works year-round alongside 2 -3 staff members to promote quality guest experiences in all regards. In this job, you will implement management decisions and provide day-to-day operational leadership for the quail hunting program at Cabin Bluff. We also want to hear your ideas for continually improving the quality of the hunts for our guests. A high school diploma/GED, a valid driver's license, and five years? experience as a professional quail guide is needed to qualify for this position. Supervisory experience is preferred. We expect: a thorough understanding of and proficiency in bird dog and flushing dog training, kennel maintenance, and proper care necessary to maintain the health and well-being of animals; a demonstrated knowledge of breeds; and, knowledge of general wildlife management techniques. Here is a chance to be part of a team providing outstanding food and beverage/bartending service in the unique setting that is Cabin Bluff. In this job, you'll prepare food service areas and bar set-ups for guests. You will be serving and clearing meals, ensuring any special guest requests and needs are communicated and addressed. In serving alcohol, you have responsibility to be certain to comply with all legal requirements and attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by following TIPS training. Employees in this job may also be required to clean and prepare guest rooms and other service areas to Cabin Bluff standards. Great people skills are essential. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with hotel, lodge, or restaurant food service experience.
