We are looking for someone who loves working with food and is passionate about producing a quality product and culinary experience. The Cook 1 acts as lead worker in the kitchen for scratch-cooking meal preparation and provides day-to-day operational coordination for the food and beverage service staff at Cabin. Flexibility in hours and schedule are required. You need a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional culinary training and degree are strongly preferred. You must have a minimum of five years of preparation in combined education and experience including three years of demonstrated relevant culinary qualification and scratch-cooking experience in a hotel, resort or quality restaurant; additional experience may substitute for the culinary training. Here's a chance to deliver the kind of service and attention that makes our Cabin Bluff guests feel pampered. Working as part of our Guest Services team, you will clean and prepare guest rooms and other service areas to the exceptional standards that set Cabin Bluff apart. Although the primary focus of this position is housekeeping, you may also be required to provide food and beverage/bartending service when the need arises.
