Fishing Outfitters swap stories at Cabin Bluff

Several of the best angler outfitters in the south visited last week to enjoy some quail hunting, sporting clays, camaraderie and most importantly - talk fishing. All were first time guests and were inspired by the location and vast range of activities available. "Fish stories" were abundant and all agreed that we have some of the best inlets and estuaries in the South. Cabin Bluff is truly a fishing paradise.

With our expert panel’s assistance, we are designing several fishing schools for 2011. Our conference center on site and unique access to miles of prime water around Cumberland Island make for the perfect pairing to teach in a classroom setting and then take to the water for hands on experience. The schools will be designed to provide basic instruction for the beginner and advance topics for the more seasoned angler.

Stay tuned as we announce the coming dates in 2011.

A special thanks to John from The Salty Feather in Jacksonville, Tony from Bay Street Outfitters in Beaufort, Walker with Rivers & Glen in Augusta, Raz Reid and Peter Brown a private guide in Charleston. Can’t wait to see you on the water.
